You may not be aware that this includes a sandwich option if your child does not like hot dinners. Our kitchen offers a 'Grab bag' lunch, which includes a sandwich (tuna/cheese/ham), a yoghurt (raspberry/strawberry/peach), a piece of cake or a biscuit, a bag of chopped fresh fruit and a drink (apple/blackcurrant/orange).

Your child need not even know as the cashless catering system we have in school credits each Free School Meal child's account daily with the price of a meal. Bottled drinks or cartons cost extra for KS2 children (Years 3,4,5,6) although water is always available in jugs at lunchtime.

As a school we do receive extra funding for each child in receipt of Free School Meals.
