We will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning in our school hall on Wednesday 25th September. All parents and carers are welcome to join us, if you are able to and wish to make a small donation to this very worthy cause, for a cuppa and a cake or biscuit after dropping the children at school.
Please can we ask that if you are joining us, you bring with you a reuseable cup/travel mug as we are unable to source a sufficient amount of cups this year and would like, if possible, to avoid using disposable cups so as to do our bit for the environment too.
We will then be inviting children in Years 5 and 6 to attend throughout the course of the morning. If your child is in Year 5 or 6 and you would like them to have a biscuit or cake and a drink, please can you send them with a small donation-our suggestion is 50p-on this day (Wednesday 25th September). All proceeds will go to Macmillan. The Year 5 and 6 children will attend the coffee morning with their class teachers and all known allergies will be taken into account. In previous years, this is an event that has always been appreciated and enjoyed by all.
If anyone is able to donate a cake (homemade or shop brought) which we can sell during this coffee morning this, too, would be much appreciated. If you choose to donate a homemade cake, please can you ensure it is nut free (as we are a nut free school) and if you are donating a homemade cake, please can you provide us with a list of the ingredients so we can ensure no one comes into contact with their allergens.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact school.
Thank you in advance for, once again, coming together to support our school community and this very worthy cause.
